Success coaches are always telling their clients to believe, believe, believe! You gotta believe!

Getting the theory of believing from your head to your heart is not always an easy trip. Believing in whatever it is you want means honestly believing it with all of your being. But how do you get there?

One of the favorite techniques for building belief is through visualization.

Visualization is like making a mind movie about what you want. Kick your imagination into gear.

Think about what IT is you want.

Make a picture of IT in your head.

Think of how you will feel when you get IT.

Imagine the smells at the moment you get your hands on IT.

Listen to the sounds or the music that you will hear when you embrace IT.

Invite in your mind who will be there when you finally have IT.

Now, focus your mind on this mental picture every day. LIVE it in your thoughts. Concentrate on how your senses are filled.

If you keep programming your brain with this mental picture, the day will come when you hold your desires in your hands.

All Network Marketers use headlines in their advertisements. The principles behind a good headline needs to be used in all subject lines, article titles, and even at the top of your profiles.

The headline is what catches your audience’s attention. It has to peak curiosity and arouse emotions enough to get your audience to read further.

The ultimate goal is to create enough interest to get them to “click through” to your website and sign up for your offer.

The secret formula to writing headlines is to create a character, usually yourself, and include the following components.

1. Personality

2. Odd Number

3. Benefit

4. Occupation

5. Location

Personality is going to be a descriptive adjective: energetic, busy, loyal, intuitive, ingenious.

Odd Number can be an age, years, items, etc.

Benefit is the good thing that awaits anyone who “clicks through” (success, endless leads).

Occupation is what the character (or you) does for a living (butcher, baker, candlestick maker).

Location is where the character lives: L.A., New York, the sticks, on a mountain top, Timbuktu.

Play around with this formula to suit whatever you are marketing.

• Start by writing down something for each component.
• Then rearrange the components to create your headline sentence.

Once you have your headline written, go to the Advanced Marketing Institute and enter your headline into the free headline analyzer.

It will give you an Emotional Marketing Value analysis and rate it for a predominant emotion classification (Intellectual, Empathetic, Spiritual).

Each classification tells how the category of words work and who is the best target audience.

Most professional copywriters get a score between 30% – 40% EMV words with the best coming in at 50% – 70%.

Using the Headline Formula, I wrote the headline for this post. When I entered it into the AMI headline analyzer, I got a score of 50% EMV and the predominant emotion of empathetic.

I do not have any professional marketing education. I learned this skill from a Mentoring For Free training.

There is a great message in the following story.  Original author unknown.

I hope you find it as inspiring as I have.

“The one impossible thing that I want you to believe today – and I really mean BELIEVE it with every ounce of your being – is that you CAN.

You CAN achieve success.

You CAN do anything that you WANT to do.

You CAN … fill in your own blank!

With that fundamental belief, anything that is physically possible is within your range. At at times, even disability isn’t a barrier if you have sufficient belief.

I read just this morning about a young man who was a successful mountain climber. He had a fall and trapped his arm between two rocks.

He had a choice that most of us couldn’t imagine having to take – he could hang there until he died, or he could cut off his own arm.

He chose to live. But that horrific tale isn’t the end of it.

He could easily have decided that without an arm, his mountain climbing days were over, but not this guy. He has the fire of ‘I Can’ burning like a torch inside of him.

He now has a prosthetic arm, shaped like a pirate’s hook and he is back climbing mountains like he never left off.

You don’t need to cut off your own arm to prove that you can climb mountains – and we all have different mountains to tackle in any case.

What you do need is an absolute, unshakeable certainty that you CAN climb it.

When you KNOW that you CAN, actually doing it doesn’t seem so hard after all.”

Are there areas in your life where you have tried and failed?  Times when you haven’t been able to achieve the level of success you had planned on?

What have you done with your setbacks?  How have you chosen to deal with your disappointments?

Everything in life is a choice.

We may not be in control of everything that happens to us in life.  But we certainly are in control of how we react.

When considering joining an MLM company, or even if you are having doubts about a company you already belong to, you need to know how to evaluate that company.

At Mentoring for Free, we use the 5 Pillars to Success for evaluating any MLM company.

1. Integrity
2. Timing
3. Products
4. Compensation
5. Duplication

This industry has a 95% failure rate.  Everybody claims to have a system that is easily duplicated.

We would have a 95% success rate if this statement were true.

The reason so many people find themselves struggling in a business is because they ask the wrong questions.

The following questions are those you must ask, and must be answered, for your success.

1. Should you trust the people running this company?  Will they actually pay you?
2. Are you gambling with your time, effort and money?
3. Do lots of people want these products?  Can they afford them?
4. How many people do you need to create your target income?  Not how much money can I make!
5. How many people will do this?  Not can they, but will they?

Can you answer these questions about your company?  Can your upline sponsor answer these questions?  Can the person working on getting you signed up with the company you are looking at answer these questions?

Can’t seem to get the information you need to make a sensible decision?
